Frequently Asked Questions

Below are a lot of the common questions we get asked about the park. If there is anything at all you would like to know that is not covered below, please get in touch and we will be only too pleased to assist.

1, How long is the park open? - Stourport Caravan Park has a 11 month licence. It closes for 7th January to 6th February.

2, Can I live on the park? - Yes you can live onsite for the 11 months that the park is open.

3, Would I be liable for council tax? - If you are not paying at another residence then you would be liable to pay council tax. This is at Band 'A' price and you only pay for the 11 months.

4, Are dogs allowed on the park? - Yes, dogs are welcome providing that they are not a nuisance.

5, Can I move my existing holiday home from another park to Stourport Caravan Park? - No. Unfortunately we do not allow this. When a new plot becomes available we will site a brand new holiday home from one of the major manufacturers.

6, Is there an age limit on the holiday homes to remain on the park? - There is an age limit of 20 years from the date of manufacture. However, in certain circumstances we will review this at 20 years and renew annually subject to the condition of the holiday home.

7, Are children allowed on the park? - Stourport Caravan Park is primarily for the mature person so there are no facilities for children. However, children can stay with Grandparents, Uncles, Aunts etc.. if visiting.

8, Can I 'sub let' my holiday home? - No. 'Sub letting' is not allowed. Only direct family are allowed to use your holiday home. 

9, What contracts or paperwork do I get as a new owner? - We issue a Park Licence Agreement which is signed by both us (park owner) and you. This document protects both parties and a copy can be viewed prior to any purchase if required.

10, What other charges are there apart from the annual rent? - Other than council tax (previously mentioned) you would be liable for any gas, electricity and water used. This is all metered and invoiced three times per year.

11, Will I have to change gas bottles? - No, the LPG gas system is bulk stored and piped to each plot via its own gas meter.

12, What types of fishing are available? - River fishing  is available and the park has its own private pegs on the River Severn. There is quite a fishing community amongst the residents on the park.
